Sociomapping Research

August 2015 - The 4th International Symposium on Sociodiagnostics and Sociomapping took place at the 27th International Conference on Systems Research, Informatics and Cybernetics held in Baden-Baden, Germany.

Building on previous years of research on the sociomapping method, five papers were presented at the 4th International Symposium on Sociodiagnostics and Sociomapping. The papers written and presented by Radvan Bahbouh, the author of the sociomapping method, and other QED GROUP’s consultants. One paper focused on the use of sociomapping during the Mars 500 experiment, a long-term space-flight simulation study, which was conducted by the European Space Agency (ESA) and the Russian IMBP (Institute of Medical and Behavioral Problems). Two papers described the use of sociomapping during two space-flight simulations to Mars with child- and teenage-crews. Another paper explored the relationship between respondents’ ratings and team performance. And another one demonstrated that sociomapping increases mutual familiarity of team members in a team. Contact us to find out more about the sociomapping research.
